The Apiary is a literary magazine organised, edited, and produced by the Writers’ Society of Queen’s University Belfast. The Apiary is a collection of poetry, short stories, and personal essays from writers affiliated with Queen’s. It is accompanied by visual art from artists based on the island of Ireland.
Issue 1: the Lost Summer edition features writing about digital crabs, Fleetwood Mac, haberdashery shops, and much more. Featuring words by Alexandra Ward, Andrew Hamilton, Anna Royle, Bebhinn Tankard, Beth Garrett, Cait Phenix, Catherine Isabelle Kerr, Dara McWade, Emma Buckley, Faye N., Hephzibah Wilson, Jamie Ryan Anderson, and Jasper Banerjee, and art by Aoife McGrath, Arthur A. Cespon, Cait Phenix, and Caolán Plumb.
All proceeds from the sale of The Apiary go towards funding future issues.
